Property description South Tyrolean style villa in San Vigilio Badia - South Tyrol
This large villa, built in 2002/03 in South Tyrolean Alpine style, is located directly in the centre of the village. The ground floor has its own entrance and with its spacious rooms can be used for a variety of purposes, such as a fitness centre, practice, office and much more. The main entrance is located on the ground floor. On this level you will find two independent 2-4 person apartments. On the first floor the main apartment extends over three floors. It has a mix of tradition and modernity, and a lively and friendly atmosphere is clearly noticeable here. The living room is spacious and offers, in addition to the cozy bay window with corner bench, two lounge sofas and a beautiful handmade Zardini tiled stove, which provides especially on cool autumn and winter days for soothing warmth. A kitchen with stone sink in typical country house style makes every cook's heart beat faster. An internal rustic wooden staircase leads to the three bedrooms and a gallery with visible wooden beams, which is certainly the highlight. Through the large window front, the magnificent panoramic view can be captured and the skiing action on the world cup slope Erta can be experienced directly. A private sauna and luxurious bathrooms round off the perfect offer. All apartments have terraces or large balconies from which the surrounding fantastic mountain panorama of the Dolomites can be enjoyed. Through the encounter of traditional forms and modern elements, the furnishings evoke a feeling of originality and charm. A home of superlatives in the midst of the mountains and with a lot of potential.
Location: The lively village of San Vigilio lies picturesquely at the foot of the Dolomites in the middle of the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park and is the main town of the municipality of Enneberg. In the northernmost village of the Val Badia at 1285m above sea level, culture meets nature, past meets modernity. In winter, the village turns into a white winter dream and attracts skiers, cross-country skiers, tobogganers, snowshoe hikers or tourers. The property is located in the immediate vicinity of the ski lifts of the well-known ski area Kronplatz with its 119 kilometres of slopes and 32 ski lifts. There is also a ski lift connection to Pikolein/St.Martin in Thurn from where a ski bus ensures the connection to the ski area "ALTA BADIA". This connection offers numerous other leisure possibilities, such as the experience of the "MARMOLADA" or the "SELLARONDA" ski and bike tour. St.Vigil is the venue of the women's giant slalom world cup since 2017. The venue of the race is the ski slope "ERTA", which got its name from the local Ladin people and means "the steep". The siblings Manuela and Manfred Mölgg, natives of Enneberg, have been training on this slope for years and have been among the protagonists of the Ski World Cup for some time now, acting as testimonials for the municipality. In summer, numerous hiking trails and mountain bike tours lead from the village into the third largest nature park in the country. With 250km of trails through untouched nature, San Vigilio is a fixed point of the transnational Transalp Challenge.
