Halfway between Florence and Siena, along the ancient consular road Cassia, a few minutes from Monteriggioni and San Gimignano, in the Chianti area, is the "Azienda Agricola Vitivinicola with 43 hectares of vineyards and olive groves, situated on a beautiful hill above the ancient walls of Staggia Senese.
We are located in Poggibonsi in the province of Siena in Tuscany, in the Alta Val d'Elsa area on the western foothills of the Chianti hills, where the cultivation of wine and olives is widespread.
The company specializes mainly in the production of red wines, whose quality ranges from vintage wines to wines with a long aging period.
The range of wines is completed by a white wine and a Chianti Vinsanto, produced by the classic method, that is, by drying the grapes.
The winery has a cellar specialized in the vinification and aging of the wines, with the modern equipment necessary for quality production.
The winery produces Chianti wine, olive oil, vinsanto and "grappa", as well as various cereals; there are also uncultivated areas covered with poppies in spring.
Attractive paths through this area lead to the neighboring farms. Vineyards, olive groves and orchards surround the vast area.
Due to the small production quantities, it is possible to closely follow all stages of processing. The wine cellar is managed by the family.

Location: Poggibonsi in Tuscany
The town of Poggibonsi is located in the province of Siena, between Siena and Florence in the middle of the Chianti area and is home to nearly 30,000 inhabitants. The picturesque landscape in the heart of Tuscany and the two rivers Elsa and Staggia that cross the town give Poggibonsi a very special charm.
Poggibonsi is located in the Val d'Elsa. At the foothills of the Chianti hills, wine growing and landscape are dominant.
In front of the village there are numerous scattered necropolises, which date back to the Etruscan and Roman periods. Necropolises are burial places of the ancient times and are located away from the residential area. At Poggibonsi these are located to the north and north-east. From there comes most of the Attic pottery of the Val d'Elsa.
It is worthwhile to make a small tour of the town. Poggibonsi has two castles, beautiful churches from the 11th, 12th and 14th centuries, a Medici fortress and a large town fountain from the 13th century. You should also indulge in the culinary delights of Tuscan specialties and not neglect the pleasant taste of local wines.
