Property description Secret Sale: Luxuriously furnished small city apartment in the Isarvorstadt district of Munich

The small single apartment with just 49 square meters near the Isar required a sophisticated concept. The floor plan unfolds around a central bathroom, which is nevertheless supplied with natural light. This was achieved through an opening to the kitchen, which is visually framed on both sides by a washbasin made of Nagelfluh. The continuous water trough serves as a sink or washbasin, depending on the room. A minimalist sideboard made of Fenix surrounds the natural stone element and ends at an oak cabinet from the design studio's own workshop, which often combines design and craftsmanship. The cooking area and living area merge into one another and the fixtures and furniture also follow this idea. The base unit snakes around the corner and becomes a storage surface. The interior designers solved the challenge of creating storage space in just a few square meters with a continuous sideboard element along the wall, which can also be used for storage and seating. These multifunctional uses were implemented almost inconspicuously and with impressive precision. Despite the manageable size of the apartment, an unexpected expanse is created that can become a space for play and experimentation. The setting for the small retreat in the big city is formed by a partially renewed herringbone parquet floor made of oak and a simple, grey color that was used for the walls, doors and windows. This cleverly creates a thematic link to the separate bedroom, which becomes an oasis of relaxation for the occupant with its uncomplicated restraint.

Location: Munich, the Bavarian capital, is not only known for its historic architecture, cultural diversity and lively atmosphere, but also for its picturesque districts that exude a unique charm. One of these districts that stands out in particular is Isarvorstadt.
Isarvorstadt extends south of Munich's city center and is flanked by the River Isar. This district combines modern city life with traditional Bavarian flair and has developed into a popular residential and nightlife district. The Isarvorstadt is known for its diverse architecture, from historic old buildings to modern new buildings, which create a harmonious cityscape.
The Isar, which meanders through the city, plays a central role in Isarvorstadt. The riverside promenade along the river not only offers an idyllic place to stroll, but also a variety of leisure activities. Munich residents like to meet here for picnics, sunbathing or leisurely walks.
Another highlight of Isarvorstadt is its culinary diversity. The charming streets are lined with trendy cafés, cozy beer gardens and international restaurants. Isarvorstadt is also known for its lively nightlife. Locals and visitors can experience Munich's hospitality and Bavarian joie de vivre in the numerous bars and clubs.
The district also has a cultural side. Art galleries, theaters and alternative cultural centers characterize the Isarvorstadt scene and offer space for creativity and innovation. This interplay of tradition and modernity makes Isarvorstadt a unique place in Munich that is equally appreciated by artists, students, families and business people.
Isarvorstadt is therefore not just a geographical part of Munich, but rather a lively district that captures the essence of the Bavarian way of life and impresses visitors with its diversity and vibrancy.
