Property description Apartment with panoramic view in Trudner Horn Nature Park - South Tyrol

The apartment we offer is located in Truden, a mountain village at the foot of the impressive Brenta Group in the heart of the Trudner Horn Nature Park. A place "away from time", in an environment of rare beauty that offers an impressive bike path and numerous hiking trails, such as the famous E5, the European path that goes from the Atlantic coast of Brittany to Venice. Remote from all, but still close to the main cities thanks to an excellent road network.
In this context, we offer a well-kept one-bedroom apartment renovated in 2022, located on the second floor of a typical historic house. A small gem with a separate entrance, a hallway that leads to a bright open space with wooden floors typical of the region and special beams on the ceiling. Since the room is large and airy, a simple partition can create an additional space that can perhaps be used as a living room with a handy sofa bed. A kitchenette with appliances and a bathroom with window and shower make this apartment the ideal solution to spend your vacation in a sophisticated and relaxing setting. Worth mentioning is the beautiful wrought iron panoramic balcony accessible from the living area. An excellent sized basement offers the possibility to store bicycles, skis and all those less used items. Not only an excellent investment thanks to its location, which allows the apartment to be used profitably for several months of the year, but also a refuge where you can spend your free time in peace.

More information on specific request. We will be happy to organize a viewing appointment.

Location: The municipality of Truden is located in the south of South Tyrol and extends in the wooded mountain range belonging to the Fiemme Alps, which separates the Adige Valley from the Fiemme Valley. Large parts of the municipal territory, with a total area of 20.70 km2, are protected in the Trudner Horn Nature Park.
The main village, Truden (1090-1180 m.a.s.l.), is located at the upper exit of the Mühlental valley on a south-facing low mountain saddle, which is overlooked to the west by the Cislon mountain ridge (1563 m). Also included in the municipality are the fractions of Mühlen (820-880 m) on the Trudner stream a little southwest of the main village, part of Kaltenbrunn (970-1000 m) a little northeast, and in the extreme east San Lugano (1060-1100 m) on the San Lugano saddle (1097 m), a transition from the Adige Valley to the Val di Fiemme. To the south, the terrain rises to the Trudner Horn (1781 m), whose summit, however, lies just outside the municipal area.
In terms of regional geography, Truden is sometimes classified as part of the Unterland-Berg area; accordingly, the municipality is assigned to the Überetsch-Unterland district community. To the west and north, Truden borders on the neighboring South Tyrolean communities of Montan and Aldein. To the east and south, the municipality borders partly on Ville di Fiemme and Capriana in Trentino, and partly on Altrei, the only South Tyrolean municipality in Val di Fiemme.

Trudner Horn Nature Park (Italian: Parco Naturale Monte Corno) is a regional park in the South Tyrolean part of the Fiemme Valley Alps (Italy). It was founded in 1980 and covers an area of 6851 ha, divided among the municipalities of Altrei, Montan, Neumarkt, Salurn and Truden.
The park is located in the extreme south of South Tyrol along the border with Trentino, about 15 km south of Bolzano. It extends over the wooded ridges of the Fleimstal Alps, which accompany the Adige Valley on the east side. The most important elevations that rise here between the lowlands, the Val di Fiemme and the Val Cembra are the Trudner Horn (1781 m), which gives the park its name, the Königswiese (1622 m), the Cislon (1563 m), the Madruttberg (1507 m) and the Geier (1084 m), which forms the southern border at the Salurner Klause. In the north the park ends in the area of the San Lugano saddle.
The Trudner Horn Nature Park stands out among the South Tyrolean nature parks because it is the only one that is completely below the 2000 m mark, and it is home to the most species-rich flora and fauna. In the different locations one encounters subalpine spruce forests, sub-Mediterranean downy oak-hophornbeam-manna ash scrub forests, dry grasslands, mixed forests, wet meadows and moors.
