Arabba is part of the municipality of Livinallongo del Col di Lana (Buchenstein) in the province of Belluno. The village lies at an altitude of 1602 m between the Pordoi and Campolongo passes, at the foot of the imposing Sella massif. The neighboring municipality of Corvara can be reached via the Campolongo Pass, while the nearby Val di Fassa can be reached via the Pordoi Pass.
With 63 km of slopes and its connection to the world-famous Dolomiti Superski ski area, Arabba is one of the most popular winter sports centers in the Dolomites. State-of-the-art snow-making facilities guarantee the best slope conditions all winter long. As one of the four starting points for the Sellaronda, one of the most beautiful and famous ski tours in the entire Alpine region, which connects the four Dolomite passes around the Sella massif, Arabba is well known to every enthusiastic skier. From the Porta Vescovo ski area, the 2600 m high local mountain, you can reach the Marmolada "Queen of the Dolomites". Most of the accommodation in the village is located in the immediate vicinity of the ski lifts and allows easy access to the slopes.
