Property description Rarity: Organic winery on the Amalfi Coast - Campania

In the hills of Maiori, with breathtaking views of the sea, an organic farm extends over a total of 20 hectares of land. This estate includes 6 hectares of vineyards, 2 hectares of olive groves, 2 hectares of lemon groves and another 10 hectares of land partly used for fruit and honey production. The terraces, characteristic of the Amalfi Coast, divide the land into different levels, cleverly connected to each other in order to exploit the full agricultural potential of the land.
Along the property there are various stone and masonry buildings (total 464m2), most of which are in need of restoration and renovation. These could serve as a starting point for the development of a hospitable activity on the property, be it agrotourism or rural tourism. The wine cellar, located in the upper region of the property and has 150m2 of space, houses the premises for processing and ripening the grapes of the farm.
Currently the property is run as a farm producing wine, olive oil, jams, lemons and liqueurs. Restoration of the buildings on the hillside would offer the possibility of converting them into small apartments that could be rented to the numerous tourists and vacationers who come to the Amalfi Coast every year. This would provide the farm with an additional source of income.
In addition, the farming activities could serve as an educational path for visitors to learn about the unique farming system in this region and the production processes of wine, olive oil, jam and liqueur.
From the farm you can quickly reach the center of the village, where all necessary services are available, as well as the main roads to major cities such as Amalfi, Positano, Salerno and Naples.

Location: Campania, a region in the south of Italy, is famous for its rich culture, stunning coastal landscapes and a long history in wine production. One of the most outstanding wine regions within Campania is undoubtedly the Amalfi Coast, known not only for its picturesque towns and spectacular coastal scenery, but also of great importance for its unique wine production.
The Amalfi Coast stretches along the Tyrrhenian coast and is famous for its terraced vineyards planted on the steep slopes of the coastal mountains. This unique cultivation technique allows winemakers to make the most of the limited but fertile soil and grow premium grapes. The result is wines of exceptional quality and character that reflect the terroir of this region.
The importance of the Amalfi Coast to wine production in Campania cannot be overstated. The region produces some of the most famous Italian wines, including Costa d'Amalfi DOC, which is known for its white and red wines. Wines from this region are characterized by their freshness, minerality and unique flavor, which is influenced by the particular climatic conditions and terroir.
However, wine production in Campania extends far beyond the Amalfi Coast. The region is also home to other major wine regions such as Irpinia, known for its excellent red wines made from the Aglianico grape, and the world-famous Lacryma Christi, a wine said to be grown on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius.
Campania has a long history of wine production dating back to ancient times. Even the ancient Romans appreciated the wines from this region and took them to the farthest parts of the Roman Empire. Today, Campania is one of Italy's emerging wine regions and has earned a reputation for quality and tradition.
The region also provides a rich cultural experience for wine lovers, offering a variety of wineries, wine tastings and events related to wine production. The combination of historical significance, picturesque scenery and world-class wines makes Campania and the Amalfi Coast a sought-after destination for wine lovers and tourists from all over the world.
